Region V has announced the Women's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 11-17.

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Miranda Stephens of Hill College.

The 6-1 freshman wing from Rosenberg, TX scored 20 points and hit 6 three-pointers in a road win over Weatherford College. For the week, she had 35 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals. She was 13 of 24 from the field and hit 9 three-pointers in 2 games.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Ella Tofaeono of Midland College.

The 6-3 freshman post from Sydney, Australia recorded her second-straight 20-point game, scoring 20 points with 7 rebounds and 2 blocks against Odessa last week.
