JACKSON, Miss. - Faith Ohanta put up a 22-point, 13-rebound effort as Arkansas-Pine Bluff kept its tournament hopes alive with a 66-60 win over Jackson State Monday night in the Lee E. Williams Athletic Assembly Center during Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) action.

Christina Ellis opened the fourth quarter with consecutive lay-ups for Jackson State. After a Derica Wiggins free throw left UAPB down 54-48 with 4:26 left, the Lady Lions reeled off a 14-0 run over the next four minutes as Ohanta, Brewton and Shawntayla Harris dominated the contest during this span for Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Wiggins and D'Asia Mitchell knocked down back-to-back threes to get within four but UAPB managed to ice the game from the free throw line.

Wiggins and Ellis each scored 13 points to lead Jackson State (13-12, 8-8 SWAC), which lost a chance at a top-4 seed as a result of the loss.
